Description
Health Training Centre (Ifakara AMO School) one of its aim is to be the center being one of the allied health professional institutions of the Ministry of health , trains clinical officers who provide essential health care in the country. The training is aimed at equipping the clinical officer with skills to perform administrative curative and preventive service at variouslevels of health facilities namely: dispensaries, health center and hospitals, thus supporting the health care delivery of the country.
Programs Offered
The center offers two year Diploma course in clinical medicine. On completion of the course and afterpassing the prescribed qualifying examinations the successful candidates are awarded a Diploma inclinical medicine by the Tanganyika medical training board.
Other services offered:
Recreation sports and games out doors indoors – table tennis, darts, dice cards, swimming, TV/video watching/viewing. Also there are secretarial services for personal/private work including photocopy
